Job Title:  Survey Equipment Technician

Job Summary:  

TheSurvey Technician fulfills a field role involving survey equipment operations,grade checker equipment operations as well as all of the machine control drivenequipment, including GPS and robotically guided equipment. 

Yourresponsibilities include training, repair, maintenance, installation as well astechnology/firmware updates. 

Beingproficient with basic Windows and Excel worksheets, inventory managementconcepts and organization is a must. 

Duties and Responsibilities:      

• Keep a log/journal of repairs/maintenance performed.
• Develop a key points checklist for inspection on equipment. 
• Travelling between all jobs and coordinating in an efficient manner.
• Maintain inventory of available parts, and restocking as needed.
• Establishing professional relationships and confidence with the work crews you are meeting. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Requires 2+ years of related experience. (Fields worked can vary)

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Mechanical background preferred.
