Job Title:  Trucking Field Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Trucking Field Coordinator is responsible for being the liaison between dispatch and logistics for Sinacola’s material hauling in the field. This position will need to effectively communicate with dispatch the activities of multiple trucking groups, both internal and external. Monitor all aspects of the trucking fleet from loading at the plant or job site to safe driving to on-time delivery to the designated

Duties and Responsibilities:      

  • Maintain company and 3rd party haul relations
  • Coordinate with supplier and/or jobsite personnel to effectively and timely load trucks
  • Develop and communicate haul routes to maximize efficiency
  • Monitoring dispatched trucks via technology from Samsara, NewMile, and other programs
  • Light maintenance of trucks in the field
  • Inventory and tracking of trucks loaded vs load delivery time
  • Effective reporting of trucking activities in the field
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-3 years administrative experience required
  • Associates degree in related field preferred; may substitute for related experience
  • Knowledge of construction, mining, or heavy manufacturing industry preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish and English language skills highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to self-manage
  • Attention to detail with multitasking ability, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Strong team player with collaborative skills
