Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Intern
Our IT Internship Program offers a valuable opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. This internship is designed to provide exposure to a broad range of technical and administrative functions within our IT department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining network documentation
- Help with inventory management of hardware and software assets
- Support the creation and management of user accounts and security groups within the Active Directory environment
- Build and troubleshoot desktop computers, including imaging and hardware diagnostics
- Perform basic switch configuration and assist with network setup tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking concepts, and hardware troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale preferred
- At least 18 years of age by program start
- Must provide own housing and transportation in the DFW area
