Subcontracts Clerk - Accounting

Frisco, TX

The Subcontract Clerk is responsible for assisting accounting team with administrative duties associated with subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders.

 Duties and Responsibilities:      

  • Maintain subcontractor document tracking and electronic filing.
  • Review and maintain subcontract requests per company guidelines.
  • Support with subcontract agreements, changes and purchase orders.
  • Work with Operations and Subcontractors to build relationships and ensure services match agreements.
  • Support projects with cross-team collaboration.
  • Stay updated on company policies and practices.
  • Aid Finance in billing and reporting for Subcontract work.
  • Assist in resolving invoicing issues.
  • Keep Subcontract files organized and compliant.

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2 years of subcontract experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good at multitasking
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Viewpoint Spectrum experience a plus
  • High school diploma required, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
